3 Arrested After Hyannis Home Invasion: Police
Three people from Hyannis are facing charges after an armed home invasion with a baseball bat, Barnstable police said.

HYANNIS, MA — Three people from Hyannis were arrested after being involved in an armed home invasion, according to police. Around 7:45 a.m. Thursday, police said they were called to a home on Angel Drive after Kevin Vieina, 25, and Nubbia Rodriques, 24, forced their way inside with a baseball bat and attacked two people in a bedroom on the second floor.
Police said the confrontation spilled into the street, and then Danillo Machado, 27, arrived and took part in the assault. When officers arrived, the three suspects ran from police, but were caught at a second location in Hyannis, according to police. The two people in the house suffered minor injuries.
Police said everyone involved knew each other, but it wasn't clear what sparked the home invasion.

Vieina and Rodrigues were charged with home invasion and assault with a dangerous weapons. Rodriques was also charged with unarmed robbery, and Machado was charged with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
