4 Men Plead Guilty To Hyannis Home Invasion
Four men, who pleaded guilty to a Hyannis armed robbery, will serve at least five years in prison.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Four men involved in a Hyannis armed home invasion and assaults on the residents pleaded guilty Monday in Barnstable Superior Court. The four men, three from Plymouth and one from Hyannis, were convicted of home invasion, three counts of masked armed robbery, seven counts of burglary and assault on an occupant, four counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of assault and battery, four counts of larceny from a building and one count of use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
Dayshaun Tatum, 29, Vedel Haynes, 26, both of Plymouth, and Dehkwon Marshall-Rabb, 24, of Hyannis, were sentenced to five to seven years in prison with three years probation, the Cape Cod Times reported. Derek Burden, 26, of Plymouth, was sentence to six to eight years with three years probation because of a previous conviction and DNA evidence found in the black SUV prosecutors said was used to get away from the home.
In March 2018, the men targeted a house on General Patton Drive for a robbery. Police said the men pulled guns on the residents and assaulted them. The men struck some of the residents with the gun and others were pushed to the ground, prosecutors said.

Prosecutors said the men drove away in a black SUV after stealing jewelry, cellphones and cash, but they were caught by responding officers.
Police said they seized a .38-caliber handgun, replica 9mm handgun, ammunition, masks, gloves, handcuffs and items stolen from the home.

Also arrested was Jennifer Schaaf, of Hyannis. Police said she was in the home at the time of the robbery and pretended to be a victim. Police said she also helped plan the robbery. She was scheduled to return to court Jan. 24.
