SANDWHICH, MA — An annual tradition is returning to Sandwich this fall.
The Sandwich Glass Museum is bringing back its Pumpkin Fest for the 15th year.
This year's festivities will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, starting at 10 a.m., and Saturday, Oct. 11, starting at 2 p.m.
At the museum's most popular retail event of the year, there will be glass pumpkins and other fall- and Halloween-themed handblown glass artwork. The unique creations will come from local and regional glass artists.
Attendees will be able to take in the artwork under the festival tent on the museum lawn, rain or shine.
Over the years, the museum, located at 129 Main St. in Sandwich, has been a beacon for glassmaking. It first opened in 1925 after the founding of the Sandwich Historical Society in 1907.
This year, the museum has expanded its reach by launching a new set of classes at the Hyannis HyArts Campus.
Admission to this unique, once-a-year event is free.
