Barnstable County Complex Closed For Nor'easter
This comes as a winter storm warning remains in effect for Cape Cod until Tuesday evening.
BARNSTABLE, MA — The Barnstable County Complex joined a growing list of local offices that have closed on Tuesday as a nor'easter brings snow to the area.
The complex houses the Cape Cod Commission, Superior Courthouse, Registry of Deeds, First District Court House, administration, County Clerk and finance offices and the Commissioners Office.
Emergency Preparedness officials in Falmouth shared that the storm system shifted even further south overnight, which has affected snow totals for some parts of Massachusetts.

However, a winter storm warning remains for Cape Cod until 7 p.m., with a high wind warning and coastal flood warning in effect until noon.
This could mean up to 1-2 inches of snow per hour, especially across southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Barnstable and Falmouth Public Schools also canceled classes for the day, as have many other districts on the Cape.
Town officials in Barnstable also shared that snowplows are at the ready for any serious snowfall accumulation.
"The DPW has staged all snowplows. Upon snow accumulation, plows will be deployed to treat main roads and secondary roads within neighborhoods. If possible, please stay off the roads," officials said.
The Transfer Station at 45 Flint Street, Marstons Mills, will be closed on Tuesday too, officials said.
