Barnstable Sewer Expansion Work To Alter Traffic: Here's Where

The work begins on Monday and lasts until Feb. 10, causing likely traffic delays.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Traffic patterns will be altered through Feb. 10 on a stretch of road in Barnstable as soil collection begins this week, town officials said.

Starting Monday through Feb. 10 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., a contractor for the Department of Public Works is scheduled to collect soil borings at various points, progressing from Craigville Beach Road to Shootflying Hill Road.

Localized traffic will be limited to one-lane alternating surrounding each drill location, officials said. Police officers will be available to assist in directing traffic.
