Board of Higher Education Honors President Schatzberg With a Citation for Service

Charles Desmond, Chair of the Mass. Board of Higher Education, welcomed President Schatzberg to the Board's formal session on campus this past Tuesday, and took a moment to honor her for her 14 years of CCCC Leadership.

Speaking for the Board, he read its formal Citation, praising her for: extending the College deeply into the community, embracing diversity and making it part of the institution's culture, promoting sustainability, dramatically expanding philanthropic giving to the College and the resulting construction of the Lorusso Applied Technology Building, and for linking the College even more closely with business and industry, especially the hospitality and real estate sectors.
