Cape Cod Maritime Museum

The ocean off Cape Cod is changing before our eyes—and the stakes couldn’t be higher! Cape Cod’s ocean is not standing still. Powerful shifts in the Gulf Stream and the atmospheric Jet Stream are rapidly reshaping the waters just offshore - altering temperatures, currents, and the very makeup of the continental shelf and slope. These changes are already affecting marine life, commercial fishing, and how we manage and protect our coastal waters.
Join Glen Gawarkiewicz, Senior Scientist in Physical Oceanography at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution , for a clear, compelling look at what’s happening beneath the surface. Blending cutting-edge science with real-world impacts, Glen will explore how ocean fronts move, why the sea around Cape Cod is changing so quickly, and what those changes mean for fishermen, ecosystems, and the future of the region.

The Barnstable Comedy Club proudly presents THE COTTAGE, a comedy by Sandy Rustin. The show opens on Thursday, May 7 and continues for 3 weekends through May 24 on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM with Sunday matinee performances at 2:30PM. General admission tickets are $30 / $28 for seniors 65+ and students. Group sale discounts are available for parties of 10 or more.  From the playwright that took CLUE from screen to stage, THE COTTAGE is an outrageously roaring 20's romp that will have you laughing from start to finish. Set in an English country cottage, a woman decides to expose her latest affair to both her husband—and her lover's wife. As secrets unravel and passions collide, the meaning of love, identity, and marriage are all thrown into question, and served in a way only the British can serve it: with tea. With shocking plot twists, scandalous reveals, and razor-sharp humor, THE COTTAGE is a deliciously funny hit comedy where no one’s secrets are safe. 
 'The Cottage' is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection.

The Cape Community Orchestra presents its spring concert: Twilight to Triumph: Music Celebrating Life’s Victories.&nbsp;
This concert explores how composers transform moments of darkness into radiance. From quiet introspection to exuberant celebration, the music reflects the resilience of the human spirit.
The program begins with Copland’s Saturday Night Waltz, continues with the first movements of Mahler’s Symphony #1, and Dvorak’s Symphony #8, and concludes with Holst’s Mars, Bringer of War.
