Ballet at Cotuit: Beginning Ballet Basics Dance Class

If you have never had the opportunity to take a ballet class but always wanted to, or, if you studied ballet as a child but stopped dancing, this class is for you.  Study ballet for the very first time or return to it in a class that is geared to adults, including the mature adult.  The class emphasizes balance, strength, posture, flexibility, and more with lovely arm movements and steps set to the best of ballet music.  Names of positions, port de bras, steps, and proper alignment are taught.  Come relax, gain confidence, and move again.  The class is taught by an encouraging professional ballet dancer/instructor who is also a certified AFAA Fitness Instructor with a background in years of dance fitness.
