In May 2022, Cape Cod Gateway Airport completed the development of a 20-year Master Plan to ensure that the facility can continue to safely and efficiently meet the aviation needs of the National Airspace System and the surrounding community. The Master Plan is the first part of the planning process; environmental review is the second part of the process started in November 2022. The Airport will spend 18-24 months total coordinating with state, federal, and local agencies under the environmental review requirements of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA), and the Cape Cod Commission. Projects included in the Master Plan update will also, as necessary, meet permitting requirements after the environmental review is completed. No permitting is included in this planning review phase.
All residents, local business owners, and interested parties are invited to attend. All attendees who provide an email address will be included on the project’s contact list to
receive future updates on the project. Specific questions or comments on the project can be emailed to enviroHYA@epsilonassociates.com
