"Our thoughts are with Rokko’s handler K9 Officer Jeff Jackson and his family during this difficult time."
The brewery and Jackson had worked together before on the BPD K9 Foundation's annual fundraiser, and the original beer label even had Rokko's photo on it.
"This beer was originally brewed to support the BPD K9s and featured images of the dogs on the label, including Rokko," the brewery said.
Fur Missile became available at the brewery only on Friday. Cape Cod will donate $1 per pint to the Barnstable Police K9 Foundation in Rokko's honor, officials said.
