Cape Cod Man Arrested With 'Numerous' Guns: Police
Officers found the man and his wife fighting in their backyard after his wife called to report he had already fired off a shot, police said.

YARMOUTH, MA — Officers seized "numerous" guns from a Cape Cod man arrested Friday night, police said. Officers responded to a Yarmouth home around 7 p.m. after a woman called to say her husband was drunk, armed with a handgun and suicidal, according to police. She told officers her husband had already fired off one round.
Officers found the couple on the ground in the backyard fighting, police said. The husband, 45-year-old William Edwards, was taken into custody.
Police confiscated several loaded and unloaded handguns, rifles and shotguns from his home, according to the Yarmouth Police Department. The Yarmouth police chief suspended Edwards's license to carry.
