Cape Cod Residents Face Gun Charges After Hyannis Chase
Two Cape Cod men were pulled over by police but took off on foot to try to avoid arrest. A gun was later found in their vehicle.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Two Cape Cod residents face multiple gun charges after being stopped by police in Hyannis.
At about 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 11, Tremaine Dillion, 22, and Kahleed Lewis, 22, both of Brewster, were stopped while driving in Hyannis.
During the stop, Dillion and Lewis attempted to flee the scene on foot, police said. The pursuit was brief, however, and both subjects were taken into custody in a nearby neighborhood.

While searching the car, police found a loaded 9mm pistol that was equipped with a mounted light and laser sight, officials said.
Dillion and Lewis were transported to the Barnstable Police Department where they were booked on charges including carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of a large capacity feeding device and possessing ammunition with an FID card.

Both Dillion and Lewis were held on $10,000 cash bail and were arraigned on Monday.
