Cape Cod Town Sees 5 Car Crashes In 20 Minutes

It was a busy Monday morning for one Cape Cod police department.

DENNIS, MA – Police in one Cape Cod town responded to five crashes in 20 minutes on Monday, police said. Officers in Dennis had a busy morning, getting called to a series of crashes that started around 10:45 a.m. and ended shortly after 11 a.m.

All available patrol and detective units were called to the scenes to investigate and direct traffic. The Dennis Fire Department also took a number of those injured to the hospital.

  • 10:44 am- Route 28 and Trotting Park Road, West Dennis, two cars, three injured
  • 10:45 am- Old Bass River Road and Bob Crowell Road, South Dennis, two cars, occupants evaluated for injury
  • 10:55 am- 686 Route 134, South Dennis, two cars, four injured
  • 10:57 am- Route 6A at Paddocks Path, East Dennis, two vehicles, no injuries
  • 11:04 am- Upper County Road at Highbank Road, South Dennis, two vehicles, no injuries
