Centerville Elementary Goes On A "Body Walk"

Third graders walked through the human body in the Centerville Elementary gym.

Barnstable High School students, teachers and parent volunteers helped third graders at Centerville Elementary School walk through the human body.

The "Body Walk" is an activity put on by the Cape Cod Extension. The program, in its third year, is themed around healthful living including eating right and exercise.

According to the Cape Cod Extension, "Body Walk, is an educational, interactive exhibit targeting third graders across Cape Cod. The spring months of March and April are an ideal time to offer this program as it coincides with National Nutrition Month and many other wellness activities offered in our local elementary schools.
