Coronavirus Vaccine Clinic Opening In Orleans

Another 800 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be available on Cape Cod soon.

ORLEANS, MA — A COVID-19 vaccine clinic will open in Orleans this month, Barnstable County health officials said.

The drive-thru clinic is at the Orleans Department of Public works and is scheduled to be listed on the state's immunization site at noon on Friday. Health officials said there will be 800 doses available at the clinic.

The clinic is available for those who live or work on Cape Cod and are available for those who live or work on Cape Cod and meet the criteria for Phase 1 of the state's vaccine rollout or are 75 or older. Caregivers who accompany someone over 75 registered for this clinic may also register and receive their own vaccination on the same day.

County health officials acknowledged there has been some issues navigating the vaccine registration site. When going to the site, officials suggested manually scrolling down until you see this clinic listed. Do not type in the date or any other parameters in the search.
