The Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment does not keep a general waitlist for residents trying to get the COVID-19 vaccine. However, when a resident attempts to make an appointment for local clinics online, and that clinic is full, you may be asked if you want to be on a wait list for that specific clinic. If there are cancellations, county officials may contact you to fill a space.
Officials encourage residents to assist those who need help navigating the online vaccine registration process. If a senior in your life does not use the internet, such as a parent, grandparent, neighbor, please reach out to assist them. As clinics open for appointments, the COVID-19 Helpline volunteers will be available at 774-330-3001 to assist anyone who needs help navigating the online registration process.
