Cotuit Man In Critical Condition After Being Hit By Car: Police
The 28-year-old man was airlifted to a Boston hospital after he was struck by a car on Route 28. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
BARNSTABLE, MA – A 28-year-old Cotuit man is in critical condition in a Boston-area hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Route 28 near Geraldine Road, Barnstable police reported on Thursday.
The man was airlifted to Boston after being treated at the scene by rescue personnel. Officers discovered the man lying on the south side of Route 28 at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday. A female driver of a 2010 Ford Mustang was also at the scene, police said. The car had moderate damage to the hood and windshield, but the driver was not injured in the accident.
