Fun AND Free Days Coming Up at Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum

Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum (PMPM) is opening its doors for two special occasions, Father’s Day and Summer Worker Welcome Day. On Father’s Day, June 18, all fathers will have free admission to the PMPM and on Monday, June 19, all summer workers will be welcomed with free admission.

“Opening our doors and giving free admission to father’s on their special day and for summer workers who support our vital tourist economy is our way of saying thank you to our community,” said K. David Weider, Ph.D, Executive Director of the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum.

For Father’s Day, the PMPM has a lot to offer with a visit to the museum’s exhibits showcasing the history of the Mayflower Pilgrims and of Provincetown, a climb up the 252-foot Monument to catch the 380-degree view, and enjoying the grounds for a picnic lunch. If you are looking for a special Father’s Day gift, the PMPM gift shop has lots of choices from books, games, hats, t-shirts, glassware, tableware, Cape Cod Salt Water Taffy and more! Consider treating dad to an annual membership and you can use it to get 10 percent off on your gift shop purchases.

For Summer Worker Welcome Day, in addition to providing free admission, the PMPM will have light refreshments for all to enjoy.

Free admission for Father’s Day and Summer Worker Welcome Day is in addition to free admission every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. through August 30th.
