Skate Rock Night

Where:

When: Friday December 23 and Friday, December 30 / 7pm-9pm

Why go: Kids in grades 3-7 can skate to popular music

Price: $5 admission, plus $5 skate rental

Enchanted Village

Where:

When: Through January 2, 2012 / begins at dusk

Why go: Bring the kids to see over 100,000 lights illuminate the grounds at the resort.

Price: Free

Vacation Craft Program

Where:

When: Wednesday December 28 / 2pm-4pm

Why go: Drop in craft program for kids ages 3-12.  Crafts can be taken home.

Price: Free

Family Board Games

Where:

When: Thursday December 29 / 2pm-4pm

Why go: Join other families and play one of the many games the library has to choose from.  There will be prizes and snacks.

Price: Free

Party Hat Party 

Where:

When: Friday December 30 / 10:30am-12:30pm

Why go: Make party hats! Start with a brown paper bag and use your imagination and left over ribbons and holiday folderol to make one of a kind hats for New Year's Eve. Gather your fancy bows and paper, they'll provide bags, tape, staplers, glue guns and more. 

All Ages are invited to come and create, children 7 and under need to be with an adult.

Price: $15, $10 for members, with a $25 cap per family 

Kids' Movies

Where: , at the Cape Cod Mall

When: times vary; click here for listings

Why go: a slew of kids' movies are out now--just in time for vacation: Adventures of Tintin, Chipwrecked, Arthur Christmas, Happy Feet 2, and The Muppets

Price: varies.  3-D movies have additional fees.

Bowling

Where:

When: Every Monday night / 9pm-midnight

Why go: Older kids can enjoy bowling on the cheap

Price: $1 per game, plus shoe rental

Creative Movement with Miss Lori

Where:

When: Tuesday, December 27 and Thursday December 29 / 9:30am-11:00am

Why go: Kids can enjoy free play time, and then directed play with balls, bubbles, music and more

Price: $10 for the 1st child, $8 per additional child
