Hyannis Fire Officials, School Bus Crash While Going To Another Wreck
Hyannis fire officials were on their way to the scene of a crash that involved a pedestrian hit by a car. Then they crashed with a bus.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Hyannis fire officials were on their way to the scene of a crash involving a pedestrian and car. Then they got in a wreck with a school bus.
On Wednesday around 3 p.m., the Barnstable Police Department received a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of North Street and Mitchell’s Way in Hyannis.
While Hyannis Fire Department personnel were responding to the scene, their vehicle was involved in a minor crash involving a Barnstable Intermediate School bus.

The bus had 36 students on board at the time of the crash. One student was evaluated and released to their parents.
At this time there are no other reported injuries.

As for the pedestrian crash, there were minor injuries reported that were treated on scene. Both crashes are being investigated by the Barnstable Police Department Patrol Division.
