Hyannis Stabbing: 1 Dead, 1 Arrested, 1 Critical
Thomas Russell, 26 of Hyannis, was stabbed to death early Saturday. Another individual was stabbed and seriously hurt.
BARNSTABLE, MA — A man was stabbed to death in Hyannis early Saturday, police announced. Another victim was stabbed and seriously hurt.
The man who died was identified as Thomas Russell, 26, of Hyannis. The other victim was not identified.
Police said one person is under arrest for a probation violation in connection with the case. Authorities did not say if they're looking for more suspects.

The stabbing happened at about 1:30 a.m. Police said they responded to Beth Lane in Hyannis for a report of a fight.
"Upon arrival police encountered two stabbing victims, " Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe said in a statement. "The matter remains under investigation by Barnstable Police and Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office."
