Kevin Spacey Accuser Can't Find Phone: Attorney
A lawyer for the man accusing Spacey of groping him at a Nantucket bar says he can't find a cellphone requested by the defense.

NANTUCKET, MA — The man accusing Kevin Spacey of groping him at a Nantucket bar cannot find a cellphone requested by the defense, according to his attorney. A judge ordered the phone turned over to the defense earlier this month after Spacey's lawyer argued they need it so an expert can try to recover text messages his lawyer says support the actor's claims of innocence.
Spacey is accused of groping the then-18-year-old man in a crowded bar on the resort island in 2016. His lawyers say the man deleted text messages that could help the actor's defense.
According to court documents cited by the Boston Herald, attorney Mitchell Garabedian said neither the accuser nor his parents can find the phone. Garabedian said they are looking for backups of the phone.
