MA Man Charged After Armed Robbery At Hyannis Market
A New Bedford man faces charges after an armed robbery at Ocean Street Market on Sunday night.
HYANNIS, MA — A New Bedford, Massachusetts man is facing armed robbery charges after a Monday arrest, Barnstable police announced.
On Sunday around 7:30 p.m., Barnstable police responded to an armed robbery at the Ocean Street Market in Hyannis.
On Monday, Michael Medeiros, 42, of New Bedford was identified as a suspect and arrested by Barnstable police. During his arrest, "a portion of the stolen cash was also recovered," police said.

Medeiros is being charged with armed robbery. He is held on $540 cash bail and is scheduled for arraignment at Barnstable District Court on Tuesday.
