BARNSTABLE, MA – A tow truck driver was drunk when he was called to pick up an OUI suspect's car on Rt. 28, state police said.
Troopers called Capeway Towing to tow Patricia O'Donnell's car around 2:20 a.m. on Saturday after the 51-year-old Marston Mills resident was charged with operating under the influence of liquor.
Capeway Towing's driver, Brandon Fenton, was earlier seen allegedly swerving over the solid white center lines and off the right side of the road, nearly striking a pole. A Hyannis News journalist driving on Willow Street and Yarmouth Road recorded the truck with his dash cam, police said.
