Man Wanted On 2 Illinois Murder Charges Captured On Cape Cod
Massachusetts State Police said Cal Curry, 33, was hiding with relatives in Hyannis to avoid being arrested on murder charges.
HYANNIS, MA — A man wanted in connection to shooting and killing two people in Illinois last month was arrested on Cape Cod Thursday, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Cal Curry, 33, was captured around 9:30 a.m., at a Hyannis home in the 400th block of Pitchers Way. State Police said Curry was wanted on two counts of murder stemming from a Nov. 13, 2021, shooting inside a home in Riverside, Illinois. The shooting left a 31-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man dead.
State Police said the arrest came after the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Federal Task Force uncovered information indicating Curry was likely hiding with relatives on Cape Cod. State Police, U.S. Marshals officials and Barnstable police arrived to take Curry into custody.
