Nicholas Xiarhos Memorial Blood Drive To Take Place On Cape Cod
The three-day blood drive is held annually in memory of Corporal Xiarhos, a Cape Cod native who was killed in Afghanistan at age 21.

YARMOUTH, MA – The 9th annual USMC Corporal Nicholas G. Xiarhos Memorial Blood Drive will be held over three days starting Saturday, Feb. 9. Xiarhos, a 2006 graduate of Dennis Yarmouth Regional High School, was killed in Afghanistan at age 21.
The blood drive is held annually on Feb. 12, Xiarhos's birthday.
The Yarmouth Police Department will host the blood drive on February 9 and 10. Cape Cod Hospital will host the blood drive on February 12. See below for dates, hours and locations:

Walk-ins are welcome. Appointments are encouraged - if you’d like to sign up for a time to donate, please call 508-86BLOOD.
During these events, Neapolitan wood fired pizzas will be provided for blood donors, generously donated by Pizza Barbone. All donors will also receive a commemorative t-shirt.
