Registration For Child COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics Opens On Cape Cod

County health officials said they are also working with schools throughout the region to organize COVID-19 vaccine clinics for students.

BARNSTABLE, MA — The Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment opened registration for its pediatric COVID-19 vaccine clinics.

The clinics will take place every Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., beginning Nov. 18, at the Harborview Conference Room. The Harborview Conference room is located in the Barnstable County Complex at 3195 Main St. in Barnstable Village.

The pediatric clinic for children ages 5 through 11 will follow the adult/teen clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Thursday, excluding Veteran’s Day and Thanksgiving.

County health officials are offering all three vaccines, though Pfizer is the only one approved for children. Booster shots are available for eligible candidates as well.

Anyone can register online for Barnstable County’s clinics at here. Participants are encouraged to register in advance due to high interest. Identification and insurance are not required for vaccination. Other vaccination locations can be found at here.
