Shark Sighting Closes Cape Cod's Head Of The Meadow Beach
The Truro beach shut down swimming for an hour amid a busy shark day across Cape Cod.

TRURO, MA — Swimming at Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro was shut down for an hour on Thursday after a shark sighting, the Sharktivity app reports.
Swimming was closed at the beach from 12:20 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. amid a busy day of shark sightings across Cape Cod.
A shark was found by a spotter pilot around 12:45 p.m. in the waters off Nauset Beach, Sharktivity reports. Another shark, this one known by the name "Snoop Dogg", was spotted at 9:41 a.m. off North Beach Island.

This comes after three sharks were detected in the waters off Nauset Beach on Wednesday morning, according to the Sharktivity app.
