Suspect Stole from Disabled Marine on Cape Cod: Police

Yarmouth police are hunting for Kevin Lima, charged with stealing from a disabled Marine and his family. Please share!

Yarmouth, MA — A suspect accused of stealing from a disabled U.S. Marine and his family at a Yarmouth water park is on the run from authorities.

An arrest warrant was issued for Kevin Lima, 36, of Acushnet.

Police said he stole a bag belonging to the disabled combat veteran and his family at the Cape Cod Inflatable Park last week. The bag contained a credit card and other valuables, police said.

"Lima is aware he is wanted and is hiding," Yarmouth police said in a statement. "If anyone knows of his location, please contact your local police immediately."

Lima was charged with felony larceny.

Police said he may be in the Greater New Bedford area. Bulletins were issued to law enforcement agencies across New England.
