'Voices' Supporting Youth Task Force Finds Bussing for Homework Help, Needs Volunteers

Permission Slips were passed out on the busses at the (grades 4/5). In the next week, we will receive them back have them scheduled for second week of February (possibly Feb. 6).

I will let everyone know when it will begin once we have the permission slips coordinated and we let the bus company know who and when to drop students off. 

Homework Helpers that are in the 2:45-4:15pm time slot: Once bussing begins, one adult volunteer will need to meet a bus at Stevens and Winter Streets at 2:55pm and walk those students to the .

The other bus will drop students off by the charter school (former HyEast) and they will work across the parking lot to the building. I will send out a schedule of when students will be getting off the bus at Stevens & Winter Streets. 

Also - we need more volunteers.

February 1st: 4pm

February 4th: 4pm

February 8th: 4pm

February 16th: 2:45pm

February 29th: 4pm 

March--most 4pm time slots on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 

Please stop by the United Cultures Room and sign up for any slots you can fill. Also, please pass this along to others that might want to volunteer. We are offering trainings on Tuesdays from 5:15-5:45pm for the next few weeks.
