West Barnstable Man Flown To Hospital After Motorcycle Crash: Cops
The 65-year-old man was "in serious need of medical attention," police said.
SANDWICH, MA — A 65-year-old West Barnstable man was flown to an area hospital with serious injuries following a motorcycle crash in Sandwich Tuesday, police said.
The West Barnstable man's motorcycle and a Toyota Corolla driven by a 39-year-old East Sandwich man collided in the intersection of County Road and Route 6A shortly after 3:30 p.m., the Sandwich Police Department said in a media release.
"Upon arrival, responding units located the operator of a motorcycle, who was injured and in serious need of medical attention," the release said.

The West Barnstable man was taken to the hospital on a Medflight helicopter, according to the release.
The driver of the Corolla was uninjured and cooperated with officers, the release said.
