White Nationalist Fliers, Noose Found On Cape Cod
Yarmouth police are looking for the person responsible for hanging 20 fliers asking white people to join their "local white nationalists."

YARMOUTH, MA — Yarmouth police are looking for the person responsible for hanging up white nationalist fliers over the weekend, just days after a noose was found hanging from a tree at a local beach.
On June 17, Yarmouth police received a report of a noose hanging from a tree at a private association beach near Pump House Lane. Police said two teenagers were seen handling the rope, but no witnesses saw who put the noose in the tree.
Three days later, police said they found 20 fliers asking white men to join local white nationalists taped to street signs, utility poles and fences on Buck Island Road.

The signs, which read, "You will not destroy us. You will not replace us. White Power," were taken down by a patrol officer, according to police. Yarmouth police said the department is working with other agencies to find out who put up the signs and to take appropriate action.
"It is clearly understood that these incidents create fear, division and distrust in our community," Police Chief Frank Frederickson said in a statement. "Please know that Yarmouth Police Department is committed to addressing issues of hate in our community."
