Key to Awesomeness: Sammy is an extraordinary young boy who has the unusual case of having to act much older than his age would normally dictate. Sam is the youngest of 5 kids, he loves sports and helping mom cook; yet, his most endearing attribute is his willingness to put his siblings before himself. Sam’s 2 older brothers, Joshua and Noah, have autism, and though they are older than Sam, he usually has to help take care of them. Not only is Sam is always ok with the extra attention his brothers require, but often advocates for their needs to Mom and Dad. It is common for Sam to try to include his brothers with his own activities, regardless of their limitations. In one particular instance, during one of Sam's soccer games, he refused to continue playing unless his brother Noah, who was only there to watch, was allowed to play with them. Sam's repeated acts of selflessness and empathy towards his brothers make him an excellent candidate for Whiz-Kids!
