Accomplishment: 4-H Junior Beekeeper sings a capella and writes poems
Key to Awesomeness: At only 13-years-old, 4-H Junior Beekeeper Ella just returned from the State Competition for Visual Presentations, where she received an “excellent” rating on her own visual presentation. And, according to nominator and Mom, Jessica, “on April 30 she is getting bees! She's been going to the Barnstable County Bee Association's Bee School since January (the only kid there!), and is ready!”

Ella has also been in the Cape Cod Conservatory A Capella Chorus for three years, and is a member of Rockapella, which is an audition-based group of sixth to ninth grade a capella singers. Ella even participated in the “4-H Idol” statewide competition and was invited to sing at the Big E in West Springfield (the largest fair in the northeast)!
This past week, Ella performed a chosen poem at the Poetry Slam at her school, and has participated in the Cape Cod Writers Summer Program and the Young Writers of Tomorrow workshop.
Nominator Jessica Hunt is the Education Facilitator at Joyfully Learning, where she teaches homeschoolers and families with education concerns. Besides her two kids, the family also consists of a dog, a guinea pig, and a beehive!
