41 Bills Signed By Gov. Baker In Past 2 Months

The governor even signed a bill making Massachusetts Maple Month while you weren't looking.

Gov. Charlie Baker's pen has been busy since Feb. 1. He's signed 41 bills that have come across his desk, making or amending laws across the Commonwealth. Some are major - didn't you know March is now Massachusetts Maple Month?! - while most are pursuant to just one municipality.

Take a look below at the bills signed. You can click the bill number at the beginning for more information on what it means. We are excluding the establishment of four sick leave banks.

  • S.2154 - An act exempting certain positions in the Adams Police Department from the Civil Service Law.
  • H.4016 - An act authorizing the appointment of special police officers in Malden.
  • H.4088 - An act further regulating the Massachusetts Port Authority Community Advisory Committee.
  • H.3360 - An act designating Mayas Asian American Pacific Islander Month.

  • H.4039 - An act further regulating certain activities of the Lake Quinsigamond Commission.
