5th ANNUAL CANINE PROMENADE
The Esplanade Association and Pawsh Boutique to host 5th Annual Canine Promenade

On Sunday, October 25th, the Esplanade Association, in partnership with Pawsh Boutique, will host their 5th Annual Canine Promenade at 12pm on Fiedler Field.
The Canine Promenade is a 1/2‐mile Halloween costume parade around the Esplanade to benefit the park, highlight the park as a resource for dog owners and to raise awareness about park improvements.
Last year the event attracted over 130 dogs and pet owners and an even larger crowd is expected for this year. The parade will be led by 7 News Investigative Reporter, Cheryl Fiandaca and loop around the newly restored Hatch Shell Oval. Following the parade a panel of judges will be awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for best costumes (human and duet).

In addition to the costume parade there will be a variety of games, demos, and giveaways for attendees to enjoy thanks to this year’s sponsors from 2 Dogs Treats, Beantown Disc Dogs, Crate Escape, Hagen, Pawblo Picasso, and Pawz, as well as goodie bags for all attendees.
Funds raised at the event will go towards the restoration of the Esplanade’s historic Lotta Fountain which was designed to serve as a gathering spot for park dogs and owners. In the spirit of the season, we encourage you to dress up your dogs (and yourself) in costume and join the Esplanade Association on Sunday for this fun and festive event.
