Book Review: A Journey to the Darkest Part of the Heart
A weekly book review column by Beacon Hill resident Smoki Bacon takes a look at featured favorites by Boston authors.

Repeaters, by Erica Ferencik
Repeaters is the story of black and murderous love, a cautionary tale that, in the hands of the author Erica Ferencik, is often a terrifying and truly unforgettable story.
You won’t want to put this bold and brilliant book down. The novel cover is a frightening skull, and one guesses it is of a prehistoric fish with lethal teeth, obviously setting a tone. It serves as a warning to the reader that leaves us to the workings of souls that live and return.
