Twitter Chat to Focus on Disability, Service, and Employment

On Friday, October 26th at 12pm EST the Institute for Community Inclusion and NextSTEP will host a live chat on Twitter about national service and employment for people with disabilities.

On Friday October 26 at 12 pm Eastern, NextSTEP and other ICI teams will participate in a live chat on Twitter. The chat will focus on how national service can lead to employment for people with disabilities. It will be run by Booz Allen Hamilton.

This promises to be a fun event, so please join us! Here's how you can participate:

1. Sign up for a free Twitter account if you don't already have one.

2. On Friday October 26 at 12 pm Eastern, type #DEchat into the search box on Twitter. This is the hashtag for the event. All messages on Twitter related to the discussion will include this hashtag. So by searching for it, you can watch the chat unfold in real time.

3. Also follow @chooseworkssa. This is the Social Security Ticket to Work Twitter account. They'll be involved in the chat, sharing interesting responses and questions.

4. Read what people are saying and add your own ideas! Just make sure to include #DEchat in the tweets you write. That way, your comments will be visible to anyone following the conversation!
