Charles St. Committee Tackles First Project: Beautifying Local ATM

The Joint Charles Street Committee -- a partnership between the Beacon Hill Civic Association and the Beacon Hill Business Association -- has completed its first project: Cleaning up the Bank of America ATM on Charles Street. The before and after photos tell the whole story, but the committee was able to lobby Bank of America to replace the carpeting, repair the wood and add a fresh coat of paint.

The committee held its inaugural meeting earlier this month with the goal of improving Charles Street for residents and businesses.
