David Chorney Joins Board of American Heart Association Have Heart Committee
He is the youngest person the Committee has invited to join its board.
Donoghue Barrett & Singal attorney David Chorney has joined the executive board of the American Heart Association Have Heart Committee. He is the youngest person the Committee has invited to join its board.
David has encouraged Donoghue Barrett & Singal to participate in the past three Lawyers Have Heart 5k road races, which raise money for the American Heart Association. This year will be the race’s 10th anniversary.
“I am excited to join the leadership board,” Mr. Chorney said, “and I think we are all excited to expand Lawyers Have Heart’s outreach to young professionals throughout the city.”

David is an associate in Donoghue Barrett & Singal’s Health Law practice where he provides services and consultations to many different healthcare providers, including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, home health agencies, physician groups, assisted living residences, and ambulatory surgery centers. He has advised clients on medical peer review issues, hospital operations, policies and procedures, the acquisition of a nursing home facility, Board of Registration in Medicine investigations, and reviewed contracts related to employment/staffing, managed care, electronic health records systems, affiliations and joint ventures, and medical education.
The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke, according to its website. The organization funds research, advocates for public health policies, and provides information related to heart health. It operates 156 local offices staffed by more than 3,000 employees.
