Students of all ages -- from pre-school to grad school -- are invited to our second annual Blessing of the Backpacks @ the Church of the Advent. Students will come forward during the 9:00 mass on Sunday 11 September 2011 to have their backpacks blessed by a parish priest. Don't worry if you're not old enough for a backpack yet -- just bring a lunchbox, a pencil box, something you'll carry to school with you every day!
After mass, Registration for Church School @ the Advent begins in the parish library, and all are welcome to attend both events.
