Patsy McGarry has reported extensively on the Catholic Church’s response to sexual abuse scandals in Ireland and covered the public inquiries into abuse documented in the Ferns, Ryan, and Murphy reports. A former foreign correspondent who reported frequently from Dublin, Kevin Cullen was a member of the Boston Globe investigative team that won a 2003 Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of the Catholic Church’s sexual abuse scandal.
