History of the Congregational Tradition

This one day seminar will provide a quick orientation, a timeline, and plenty of time for discussion about one of the nation's most influential religious traditions. This class covers three and a half centuries, from Congregationalism's English Puritan roots to the denominational merger which created the United Church of Christ.

Instructor, Peggy Bendroth, is the Executive Director of the American Congregational Association. She has taught widely on American history including in the Beacon Hill Seminars.
