"Picnic in the Park" Series - Phillips Street Play Area - Kite Buidling, Book & Bake Sale and Free Ice Cream
The Friends of the Phillips Street Play Area invite you to the "Picnic in the Park" series taking place Tuesday, June 26th from 5:30PM - 7:30PM. Bring your picnic basket & invite friends to join Elisabeth Accardi from "Upon a Star" in a Kite Building activity. Free ice cream will be served! There will also be a used book sale and bake sale run by neighborhood children to help support the free summer events.
The Friends of the PSPA is still in need of more book donations. Drop off is at the Vila Shul, 18 Phillips Street or contact Cindy Sullivan cindysullivan@hotmail.com to arrange for pick up.
"The Friends of the Phillips Street Play Area (PSPA) is pleased to announce Free Summer Programs and Community Events taking place at the Phillips Street Play Area, in Beacon Hill. This year the Friends group will host a “Picnic in the Park Series” to be held on Tuesdays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Bring your picnic basket or order a “Phillips Street Picnic Box Dinners” at Panificio by 3:00pm the day of the event by calling 617.227.4340. You can also order online at http://panificioboston.com. There will be free ice cream at each event and special entertainment including musicians and other local entertainers."

June 26th- Kite Building and Book/Bake Sale – Elisabeth Accardi, owner of Upon a Star, will create a unique & whimsical kite activity for children. Buy a book at the used book sale and receive a free bookmark with discount to Blackstone’s on Charles Street. Neighborhood children will also host a bake sale with proceeds going to the playground. Ice Cream for all!
