Will Moses, renowned illustrator and children’s author to sign books at Hill House Community Center and Blackstone’s of Beacon Hill Gift Shop

Hill House Community Center and Blackstone's of Beacon Hill will once again co- host famous illustrator and children's book author Will Moses appearing on Saturday, December 3rd for the signing of his new book – Mary and her Little Lamb (the true story of the famous nursery rhyme).  The book is a richly illustrated, warm and engaging tale of Mary Elizabeth Sawyer, a true to life person from Sterling, MA whose singular devotion to her little lamb inspired the now famous poem and song.

Will Moses will be making his fourth visit to the Hill House (1:30 to 3:30) during their annual tree sale and later in the afternoon (4:00 to 6:00 PM) at Blackstone’s. “We always look forward to this time of the year when, together, we can welcome Will Moses to both of our establishments,” says Blackstone’s co-owner Mark Duffield.  Ian Moorhouse, Director of Hill House adds, “I personally love the tree sale because it marks the beginning of the holiday season; even though it might be cold outside you can feel the warmth of the community coming together around this festive time. It brings me great joy that our good friend Will Moses and Blackstone’s of Beacon Hill will be joining us again this year to be a part of the festivities.  This year’s tree sale is going be even more special because Will be joined by some fluffy friends (sheep!).”

“For those who are collectors of Will Moses’ works, Mary and her Little Lamb marks his ninth book,” says Jennifer Hill, co-owner of Blackstone’s.   “As with his previous signings, we will have Will's complete collection of illustrated books and whimsical jigsaw puzzles available for signing including his seasonal favorite, The Night Before Christmas.”
