Gov. Baker: Son Will Cooperate With U.S. Attorney's Investigation

BOSTON, MA — State authorities will not be involved with the U.S. Attorney's office investigation into allegations that Gov. Charlie Baker's son A.J. groped a woman on a plane last week, the governor told reporters Monday morning.

"Look, I love my son, but this review needs to be done by the U.S. Attorney's office. A.J. need to cooperate, and we expect that that's what's going to happen," he said.

Baker told reporters he would not go into details about the allegations or the investigation, but WBZ reported Friday that a woman aboard a JetBlue Flight from Washington, D.C. to Boston told police that A.J. Baker groped her breast and refused to stop touching her. Baker was removed from the plane, but not arrested or summonsed to court.
