On September 19-20, John Kramer presented a poster at the Aging and Disability Roundtable at Simmons College in Boston, along with his colleague Caitlin Coyle from UMass Boston’s Department of Gerontology. The roundtable was hosted by the International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual Disabilities.
Their poster presented findings from a pilot study they conducted on aging caregivers who are siblings of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They also provided recommendations for how disability researchers and gerontologists can work together more effectively.
