"Fisk at 50: Music for Oboe and Organ"

The King’s Chapel Concert Series concludes the 50th anniversary celebrations of its renowned Fisk organ. Oboist Andrew Price joins organist and Music Director Heinrich Christensen for a program featuring music for organ and oboe. Also featured will be the world premiere of a solo organ work by Carson Cooman. Mr. Price, who makes his solo debut at King’s Chapel, is principal oboist for the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and regularly plays with the Boston Pops Orchestra and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He has recently joined the faculty of Boston University School of Music as a Lecturer of oboe.
