Local Non-Profit Receives Citation from State Senator!

Did you know that today is International Day of Persons with Disability?

On 12/1/14, the honorable Massachusetts Senator Anthony W. Petruccelli awarded LandAjob Director John Bertram with a Citation in recognition of International Day of Persons with Disability and LandAjob’s tireless efforts on behalf of individuals with disabilities.

LandAjob is a division of the National Telecommuting Institute (NTI). NTI is a local 501©(3) not for profit organization that has been training, placing and supporting Americans with disabilities all over the country since 1995. The LandAjob program assists individuals with disabilities get work-related expenses reimbursed through Social Security’s Ticket to Work Program. It is a great and important program that help attract and retain individuals on social security benefits to participate in or re-enter the economic system. Not only does program individuals with disabilities lead more purpose-filled lives, it is designed to reduce their reliance on social security benefits, benefiting all sectors and building a truly thriving economic system.
