Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Louisburg Square Sunday Night

A Beacon Hill man had a gun put to his stomach as he was being robbed in Louisburg Square Sunday around 11 p.m., police said.

The man reported that he was talking on his phone as he walked home, traveling through the Common, down Willow Street. He had arrived in Louisburg Square when we was approached from behind by an unknown man wearing a blue hooded sweater and jeans.

The man put a "black handgun with 3 white grooves on the top" to his stomach and demanded the victim's cell phone and wallet. The victim complied and the suspect ran back toward the Common, police reports state.

The victim continued to walk home and contacted 911. Police searched the area to no avail.
